Eligibility

Students must meet the participation criteria set out on the International Office website.

Below are a few details about some of the participation criteria:

  • CO-OP option: Students registered in CO-OP (co-operative education) are eligible for the international exchange program.
  • Number of credits completed: You must have completed at least one term of law studies, that is, 15 credits, when applying. You can apply during your first year in anticipation of going on exchange during the winter term of your second year. For other programs, please consult the following Web page: "Eligible Programs and Preferred Participation Periods".
  • Certificate of eligibility: You also have to obtain a certificate of eligibility (an assessment of your academic requirements) from the Civil Law Section academic secretariat. Certificates are produced only during the last week of January, because we have to wait for your fall term academic results, which come out during the last week of January.
