Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS)
Ghazaleh Jerban was granted an Ontario Graduate Scholarships for her Ph.D. project entitled « Fostering Women and Developing Countries’ Interests through Implementing the WIPO’s Development Agenda: the Potential Role of Proactive Patent Harmonization », supervised by Professor Elizabeth Judge.
Melisa Handl was granted an Ontario Graduate Scholarships for her Ph.D. project entitled « Gender Equality in the Context of Conditional Cash Transfers (CCTs) in Argentina: Are Women Being Empowered or Entrapped? », supervised by Professor Angela Cameron.
China Scholarship Council (CSC)
Chen Wang was granted a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council for her Ph.D. project entitled " Stay or Leave: a Legal Analysis of Chinese Immigrants' Motivation, Situation and Adaptation in Canada ", supervised by Professor Angela Cameron.
Kun Hui was granted a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council for his Ph.D. project entitled "The Implications for China's State Immunity Doctrine for the Execution of Investment Arbitral Awards against China in Different Jurisdictions", supervised by Professor Anthony Vanduzer.
Kololian Family Scholarship for International Law Students
Chen Wang was also granted the Kololian Family Scholarship for a research project entitled « Assimilation or Autonomy? China’s control of migration in and out of Tibet », supervised by Professor Angela Cameron.
The Edward Barry McDougall Memorial Scholarship for Graduate Studies in Law
Nina Natalia Baranowska was granted the Edward Barry McDougall Memorial Scholarship for Graduate Studies in Law for the project « 3D printing : challenges for Tort Law » (Law and Technology Group).
Shirley Greenberg Scholarship
Geneviève Geneau was granted the Shirley Greenberg Scholarship for her Ph.D. project entitled « La difficile atteinte d’une “justice de genre” pour les femmes victimes de violence sexuelle ou à caractère « sexiste » en situations de conflit en droit international pénal », supervised by Professor Muriel Paradelle.
Suzanne Dunn was granted the Shirley Greenberg Scholarship for her Master’s project entitled «The eQuality Project », supervised by Professor Jane Bailey.
The Faculty of Law Scholarship in Environment and Sustainability
Pierre Cloutier de Repentigny was granted the Faculty of Law Scholarship in Environment and Sustainability for his Ph.D. project entitled « Protecting Marine Life through the Reformation of UNCLOS_Envisioning what Environmental Law Could Be”, supervised by Professor Heather McLeod-Kilmurray.
Alexandre Lillo was granted the Faculty of Law Scholarship in Environment and Sustainability for his Ph.D. project entitled « La construction juridique de la gestion de l’eau par bassin versant au Canada », supervised by Professor Jamie Benidickson.
Audrey J. Boyce Graduate Law Scholarship
Aboubacar Dakuyo was granted the Audrey J. Boyce Graduate Law Scholarship for his Ph.D. project entitled "Justice transitionnelle et responsabilités pour crimes internationaux : élaboration d’un cadre normatif d’imputabilité conjuguant répression et paix", supervised by Professor Pacifique Manirakiza.
The Raoul Barbe and Yolande Larose Scholarship on the Study of the Judiciary
Jessica Dufresne was granted the Raoul Barbe and Yolande Larose Scholarship on the Study of the Judiciary for her doctoral project entitled "Les rôles de l’État et de la société civile dans la protection du droit à l’alimentation au Canada : Complémentarité ou rupture?" supervised by Professor David Robitaille.
Scholarship from CIGI International Law Research Program
Irene Ekweozoh received a scholarship from CIGI International Law Research Program for her research project entitled « Bridging the gaps in the United Nations Guiding Principles: Praxis, Problems and Prospects of an Effective Grievance Mechanism », supervised by Professor Vasudev.
Sileshi Bedasie received a scholarship from CIGI International Law Research Program for his his research project on copyright and access to learning material in the context of human right to education.
Zhannah Voukitchevitch received a scholarship from CIGI International Law Research Program for her research project entitled « International Governance: Integrated Regulation of Arctic Development », supervised by Professor Donald McRae.
Uchenna Ugwu received a scholarship from CIGI International Law Research Program for her research project entitled « Leveraging the Multilateral Patent Regime to Advance Food Security: Implications of the EU-ECOWAS Economic Partnership Agreement.», supervised by Professor Chidi Oguamanam.
Ontario Trillium Scholarship
Zoé Boirin received the prestigious Ontario’s Trillium Scholarship for her project entitled « Projets extractifs et développement durable : la mise en cohérence du cadre légal des projets extractifs avec les droits au consentement et à la consultation des peuples autochtones et des populations locales », supervised by Professor Sophie Thériault.
